First of all, I'm writing this because I haven't been this frustrated by reading a manga in a very long time. I've read to ch38 and had to drop this manga due to being at my last straw. This review may be viewed to have spoilers, so I'll keep it as vague as I can. The main reason for the low rating is due to contradictories and annoying actions the characters take.

#1: I would say literally every character assumes this or that which causes ALL the problems being faced. I swear if half the characters put in even some effort into being honest or event clarifying themselves, it would be 100 times more enjoyable to read. It's really as if the author thought that 100% of humans would never ask "what do you mean?" Or have critical thought and say "I think there has been a misunderstanding". I already deal with people assuming things all the time irl, I'd rather not deal with it all the time while reading a story.

#2: Contradictories. The MC is praised to unconditionally love people then later hates others.

#3 and this is what was the last straw: The MC hates another person due to realizing that they assumed something when they could have been more communicative WHEN SHE LITERALLY DOES THIS SAME MISTAKE MULTIPLE TIMES HERSELF. Grrr!

Alright. I'm done venting my frustration. Thanks for sticking around to this point. XP

Oh it's so good. I always liked this kind of manhwa where everyone of FLs family ignored her and when they realise their mistakes and start caring for her. But in kind of manhwas always fls are pretty easily accepted their families after they apologise but here she also tried to gain their love for years but when she realises that they're not worth it she was just done and the way she treated them was so satisfying even when she mistaken that they were acting (which they were not they actually started caring for her) but she didn't listened to them that was so damn good. A strong fl we always love. Ashtarte was like Penelope from Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess( one of my absolute fav) . The art is also so good. I got confused with some characters tho but it's so so good. And and and we have also two damn MLS here ❤️😩

*spoiler free review*

Ashtarte is definitely a captivating read.

When starting the story Ashtarte is a child, it definitely shows in her desperate wishes for her family to accept her, and her readiness to forgive them for their misdeeds. I know that actions like these can be grating in stories. However, since Ashtarte is a child, she doesn’t know better.  As the story progresses, we follow Ashtarte as she grows up and (for lack of a better word), grows a backbone.

I highly recommend Ashtarte, and although the story seems to stall at certain points, and her family can be infuriating, the payoff (in my opinion) is worth it.

Whole season 1 is about Ashtarte's chilhood and how she was treated badly and how she didn't forgive her family. I like the story and the artwork is simly great. The pace is a bit slow. I hope for some romance in season 2 and more of the story.

taht she was infertile omg fuckin confirmed i hate that little two faced ofmmgmg and that her biological family won't leave her alone, i felt kinda bad for the second prince (at first) since he just wanted like a sibling of his own that he could care for since his mother was UGHH (only way to describe by what i've sent) but then when she starts crying because she misunderstood i was not having any of that at all
