Very similar. Both character reincarnated into alternate world. Both main characters use their knowledge from previous life to better their current situation.

Isekai that focuses on world building rather than romance

Mc uses her knowledge of her past life to improve standard of living for citizens of her dukedom

Thoroughly develops mechanics of this world, making this work of fiction feel real

This is more so for Koushaku Reijou  but it can also apply to Bookworm that there is no prince in shining armour but instead a manipulating prince that uses Mc as a tool

IKreads IKreads says...

Both of them use their knowledge of their past lives to make their environment advanced

They both go into the economics of fictional worlds. In addition, the main character's ability comes from their knowledge rather than fighting ability. I recommend both

Sokuhi Shigan!

Sokuhi Shigan!

While Aida Kiyoka is working at her part-time cleaning job, she suddenly trips to a parallel universe. A kind lady takes her in and she begins her new life there. However she faces one big problem, normal households in this world do not have bathtubs! As a person who has an unusual love for cleanliness and loves taking baths, for Kiyoka this is an utterly unbearable situation. However, one day, she hears that the King is recruiting a side consort. She thinks, 'If I become a consort, won't I be able to have baths every day?' and immediately applies. A unique trip fantasy, about a girl who loves to clean (clean-freak in denial) and her road to her dreamed bath.

Each of these only has a small handful of chapters translated right now so I haven't read much of either of them, but from what I have read it seems that the basic premises are very similar. Both are about girls who end up medivial like worlds without access to something they are really passionate about (books and baths respectively). The main characters both go to incredible lengths to to get the thing that they are denied.

Waking up in a strange fantasy world, Mitsuha narrowly survives an encounter with a pack of wolves, then realizes she has the power to move between this world and the real one. A lesser person might embark on heroic adventures--Mitsuha instead immediately recognizes the lucrative possibilities of her new situation, and heads out to buy an arsenal of modern weapons. Her goal: to acquire 80,000 gold, and the life of leisure she's always dreamed of!

absolvedissonance absolvedissonance says...

- if you enjoyed the crafting elements in Dr. Stone, Ascedance of a Bookworm takes it to a more niche level= making books

- cause the mc was a nerd in her past life, she wants to continue reading books

- but since she was isekaid into a typical isekai world w/o technology, indoor plumbing and no books (for the gen. public)

- she has to use her past knowledge to traverse the new world without the comfort of modern inventions

*Also, keep in mind, this girl is just a nerd and by no means a superhuman genius like mr. rock. She also has human emotions, like getting frustated or angry, so you might be into that kind of characterization. It also feels like we're learning bout stuff as we follow her adventure.
