Honestly really really loved this manga. The story and the art was great. I think it's the first time I ever routed for a different love interest than the original, if you read it I'm sure you'll understand. So the ended kinda annoyed me, but that's because of my preference on characters. Don't get me wrong I love all the characters and the development. It truely is a cute story. It's just my heart screamed at the end 😂

definitely worth the read 💖

Fair warning, spoilers ahead. There's no way to write a fair review without mentioning how this ends up.

How do you mess this up. Just how? Give two leads incredible chemistry, longing, angst, emotional trauma and pain when they're emotionally or physically separate, dream of each other every night, blush when they get close to each other, and then decide some dude from Wichita Kansas who she hasn't seen since she was watching Blues Clues and has 3 second conversations with is the male lead. Just how? How do you mess this up? Nino talks about how important Yuzu is to her and when he disappears she loses "her voice" and dreams about him every night. How she wants her voice to belong to him only and his songs to be only for her. And then she just says right after, "I'm in love with Momo". How unsatisified she is after she starts dating Momo because she misses Yuzu and trying to force herself to be content. How she thinks constantly of Yuzu when kissing Momo. How do you mess this up? How?

How do you kiss the guy you have so much chemistry with 4 chapters before the end and feel the happiest you ever have in your life, then say your voice belongs only to him and then suddeny confess your love to insert generic character here. And then the final scene goes to her romantically planning her future with your non-boyfriend on the beach??

Overall pretty decent manga.
I'll be honest, I originally read this manga because someone recommend it to me, but I don't regret it. The story was funny and gave some laughing points while also being serious. I was able to understand and "witness" some of the experiences that the characters went through, which gave me a better understanding of why they are who they are in the "present." I think that if you really read this manga in depth and look over every little detail, you'll be able to pick up on just how sad it is. I was able to see loss and joy, and how a girl who held everything inside her whole life was able to survive through music. A boy who lost someone dear wasn't allowed to be who he was. The characters had distinct personalities and I wasn't bored of seeing them. More so the plot was stable and carried out throughout the entire manga, I was hardly confused.
