Some people can see the angel. Some people can't. The ones who can see fem seem to be those who have an emptiness in their lives and are lacking connection to others. The angel never talks, but fe will comfort people with feir presence and sometimes with gentle kisses. Fe also drinks gin and lime. The three main people fe interacts with are Kato, Mizuho, and Chi. At one point, fe's compared to a stray cat--a "stray angel"--wandering from one person to the next, but never staying for longer than they need fem. And whenever they build connections with others, fe just stops showing up in their lives (though they can still see fem around town). It's implied that the angel also followed the cat around for a while, because it was feeling anxious about having moved to a new town. I found that to be an adorable idea. Also, the fact that Satoru can see the angel probably means that feir life isn't as peachy as it seems on the outside. Which is kind of a dark implication.
