An Hour of Romance Manga

Jooahn and Dojin couldn’t be any more different at work. She's a perpetually single career woman who takes everything too seriously and rules with an iron fist. He's a modelesque klutz with a heart of gold who lucked into an entry-level marketing job. But when a company trip to a mysterious temple starts an inexplicable soul swap, they end up switching bodies for an hour each day. To avoid utter embarrassment and keep up their reputations, the unlikely pair will have to cooperate and bide their time. Will Jooahn learn to sympathize with the pretty boy who can’t do anything right? And will Dojin see the softer side of his boss’s spiky persona?

Let me just take a moment to point out what a hottie the ML, Yoo Doojin is. Like wow, some of the most proportionate bodies I have seen in forever. Putting that aside, this is an interesting body switch romance with a gimmick that both the main characters exchange their bodies for only one random hour in the day. While I am only 33 chapters in (=5 bodyswapped hours), The comedy has been consistently on point with not a wasted joke. A lot of situational comedies arising from the characters individual traits and hints at possible past traumas that help them rise above mere caricatures of their tropes and become more holistic characters as you read through. Watch out for the last panels of the chapters. They are generally comedy gold! And I am definitely itching to see how their one month is going to go!

FL is a little mean... I don't hate her but I'm not super invested in her character. This is a slow burn and usually I don't mind this but the story is incredibly boring. Also, the characters act like middle schoolers in regards to going to the bathroom or seeing each other naked... they should have already gotten used to it after a couple swaps.

Ahhhhhhh man I may not have been that much of a fan with “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.” but this manhwa of author-San, really tries to pull every single heartstring it finds! It basically shows no nonsense Jooahn and sweetheart Dojin switching bodies after visiting a monk temple on a work trip. The main culprit of this hidden love matching is the little monk who is known to be over 100 years old (ngl he reminds me of Avatar). Both Jooahn and Dojin switch at random hours of the day for a month so it comes with trials as well as tribulations like any body swapping trope in stories do. It’s even fluffy that they start to realise they have feelings for each other 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I really enjoyed reading through this manhwa, it’s just really entertaining with the main characters being likeable and the side characters (especially Jooahn‘s bestie like she definitely shipped them both and snagged Dojins best man 😉😉😉) .
