Cardinal, a researcher who loves light novels, had been reincarnated as the villainous daughter of an otome game. Her banishment flag is raised, but oblivious to the game's storyline, she doesn't know how to overcome or avoid it. She makes the critical decision to live on her own and become a villainess until the very end! She'll rise up in this unknown world embracing her new role.
Well, as of this review, there is only 1 chapter with an English translation, so this’ll be my first impressions and speculations galore. Anyway, our protagonist dies and reincarnates into a 6-year-old otome game villainess. However, she hasn’t actually played this otome game, and doesn’t know the characters or what will happen, but she is aware that she is the villainess (because it seems right to her or something? It’s not really clear). Despite her situation, our MC is quite excited to play the role of the villainess, only to completely change her mind and want to pursue the art of medicine instead? While our MC was a medical researcher in her past life, she goes from wanting to play the villainess role to wanting to study medicine within a few pages, and it’s a really jarring shift. Like I previously mentioned, there’s only one chapter, so it’s hard for me to grasp the quality of the writing and characters, but the sudden change in the protagonist’s goals is really quite confusing to me. With that being said, I don’t think it’s fair to give it a low score just based off of that one chapter and that confusing instance, but it has yet to do anything to really captivate my interest. I will wait for additional chapters before giving my final verdict, but as of right now, it’s a bit below average
