Both take place in a dystiopian future where homosexuality seems to be the norm, or at least not unusal. In Ai no Kusabi they have "pets" and in Blood Bank they have "arts", but they are essentially the same thing - human servants specifically bred to be used as sex slaves for the rich and powerful.

In both, a non-human from the highest class of society takes a liking to a human of the lowest class of society, and this is seen as a scandal. There is a clear master-servant relationship between the two, but the roles are reversed in the two works. So in Blood Bank the "master" is the low-class citizen and in Ai no Kusabi, the "master" is the high-class citizen. In Ai no Kusabi the relationship is also more lust-driven and much more abusive. It's also not a consenting relationship like in Blood Bank where both parts agree to it (worth noting if you're interested in reading one or the other).

They also both deal with political issues and the yaoi is not the main plot of the story.

(Even though Killing Stalking is a manhwa and Ai no Kusabi is a light novel I'll just use the word manga to describe them because that's easier)

They are both intense and dark mangas that explore taboo-themes such as murder, rape and insanity. The reader is constanty on his toes wanting to know what will happen next. In both mangas, one person takes the other one captive and forces him into obedience - and after a while that person becomes a slave to his master, willing to do his every bidding.

Even though yaoi is a big part of both mangas, it's not the main plot.
