Hunted for possessing a heaven-defying object, Yun Che is a young man in both that life and the next. Throwing himself off a cliff to spite his pursuers, Yun Che is reincarnated as Xiao Che, a recently poisoned teen in another realm. Just as hated in this life as the previous one, Che must overcome his own hostile clan, his own inability to cultivate, and his own frosty fiancée.
The reason I left this novel was that there were very few episodes left. It's a great novel. The main character is also very good. Even though there is a bit of "making love", they are also the taste and salt of this novel. I suggest you read it.
Against the backdrop of xuanhuan tropes and familiar arcs, "Against the Gods" navigates its course with both strengths and drawbacks. The tale weaves the protagonist's journey into a young vessel bereft of vitality. There's the clichéd entrance of a captivating maiden who will eventually break off the marriage and the discovery of an overpowered ally to aid in overcoming predicaments. There's a harem element, the arrogant young masters, and the victorious ascent of a seemingly trash character."Against the Gods" began with promise, but gradually lost its way. The protagonist's transformation from wisdom to foolishness, reliance on luck, and unsettling interactions with women marred the experience. Repetitive plot patterns and character arcs further hindered its appeal. While the novel may find some audience, its inability to maintain early intrigue and its disconcerting themes may disappoint those seeking a more engaging and thoughtful narrative.
I have probably never felt so frustrated from a story so much. My mind has been a mess even 1 day after reading the 15th volume of novel. i have decided to drop it. While the initial 600 chapters were ok, 7/10. But after that, characters start making stupid decisions one after another. I think the author had gotten senile, trying to add more drama. Everyone who read the story knows, which part we readers hate the most. Its the part where mc forgives a bunch of star gods, and later on loses everything as these star gods sneak attack him and jasmine in the worst moment. Like why, why do mc has to forgive such mortal enemies. And that's not all. After that, xia qingque, who was mc's wife, and one of fan favorites, decides to go after mc, and kill the entire planet of mc and her, along with all their families, mc's harem etc... Like seriously?? xia qingque becoming like that, the author thinks fan's hearts won't crash after that?? The characters had already started making stupid decisions much before that final planet nuke thing... When jasmine decided to use her powers on mc's planet, bcz of which jasmine got discovered. Like seriously?? Didn't jasmine knew the consequences of using her powers? Did she really needed to go alone in those regions? Couldn't she have brought mc and demon queen?? And mc didn't kill sword sect earlier, when jasmine was revealed.. Like seriously, wtf.. That mistake stretched the story by 100 chaps. And mc didn't learnt anything from this, and forgives the star gods later on, which leads to demise of jasmine, and mc branded as devil... this is the main problem with story. mc never learns. He cannot just sit around waiting to improve his powers, no he will jump into danger. And then forgives enemy, gets back-stabbed, gets his all family and loved ones killed, get mad then.. The author just wants to create edgy story... Seriously don't read this novel/manhwa, its stupid. Or stop the novel after jasmine gets revealed on the planet in front of all.
