Humility! Integrity! Compassion! Valor! Justice! Sacrifice! Honor! Faith! He's a lich, however, he's knightly! He is a lich, but he keeps his faith in the light! Fearless in the face of the enemy! Loyal and upright, he fights to the death! Why you may ask? Because protecting the weak is not against the law of the world!
(Upto ch 47) Our Mc here is a cute small lich who tries to fit himself in human world by faking himself as a knight, concealing himself in armor. He is foolish, naive, moderate op who gradually grows as a character as you move on.For aiming to become a perfect knight he tries his best by following a book but soon he got deviated from his path as he couldnt comprehend how complex the human world.Sometimes,by helping others out of his goodwill,he was doing harm to some others. This led him to delve into deeper thoughts to find the true meaning of chivalry and thats what bloomed his character later on. Well it is not some deep sh*t manhua like other top manhwas but it is an average manhua that is far better than contemporary sh*t cultivation chinese manhwas. Art is great but lacking a lot in background. Some panels are well deserved.Other characters are potrayed well. Can ba considered to be given a try.
As a person who rarely reads manhua, but I acknowledge this is the best manhua I have ever read so far.The story follows a lich (gender unknown) on his way to becoming a knight after leaving the underground. He meets a duchess who helps him achieve his wish and claims him as her knight. Experiencing many events, the little guy has suffered from hatred or misunderstanding from people. But it's amazing that he didn't realize it, like a innocent child (as an analogy of an angel). Over time he gradually grew, learning about his surroundings and he became the paladin of the duchess. Later he became the focus of political forces, and of course he was also drawn into it without knowing what to do. Making him like a bird that has just left its nest faces challenges and pressures from people. The plot is also quite predictable but has some details and logic, I personally find it not too difficult to understand for everyone to read and satisfy entertainment. The character background is built quite specifically, with the connection between the characters and the influence of each individual on the main character. The art of the story is good so I won't argue here. Plus I hope in the future it can do better and make the most of what it has.
Started off good with an interesting premise. Characters haven't developed much or gotten any smarter or knowledgable about the world for 91 chapters. Feels like its rehasing old shit. Plus according to the author if we were to get unemployment men would start beating their wife and kids since they are no longer too tired to do so. People would just pay exorbitant prices and not save anything. (in this context they get payed wuit a bit of gold compared to what they used to make tho) It just felt like a boring ass way to move the plot forward and it just peaked a long time ago. The story and charcters have gotten progressively worse and not better.
