The new boy group sensation “Poison” is out to conquer the K-Pop scene with their buff bodies and sexy charm. With a successful debut and thousands of eager fans, everything seems to be going well…or is it? As the group’s prim and proper leader, Sihyun should be dreaming of chart domination. But instead, his dreams are filled with fantasies about his groupmate, the sullen and mysterious Seong-eun. As the two spend more and more time together, they get caught up in a whirlwind of muddled passion and sweaty tension, both on and off the stage. Will they manage to keep things together? And will those dreams be fulfilled?
I basically pushed myself till chapter 5 and then dropped it. The story combined with the dialogues doesn't make much sense I would say. First things first, the dark haired guy on the cover on Anime planet isnt the ML but another person in the group which is super weird that they have put that as a cover. Secondly according to the summary the ML is brooding and basically Tsundere. I didn't get 1% that kinda vibe from him. Maybe it's in the later chapters of the comic when the past is revealed or so but I don't have that much patience from this one. Thirdly, if you are from a boy idol group then don't you want to keep this under tight wraps. I didn't get that feeling at all. The ML was practically babbling sweet nothings and hugging the mc in the first five chapters. All in all, the art is fine(not really my style but it's good if you neglect the fact that the heights of people are changing in every frame). The faces are cute. N the art style is clean and proportional. But the dialogues drag out and it doesn't give us any anticipation or hope to read further. Its basically stagnant. If you want to read a bl on idol group then insecret is much better(even though one scene is non con which is sad). You can give this a try if you don't care much about storyline or have the patience to get through a boring series of dialogues at first. Who knows maybe it's gets better as we go on. All stars are for the art style.
shld have listened to reviews bc this was such a waste of time what did i even read
The couple probably was the best part about this book and they sort of broke up every chapter. The story about the dreams seemed cool at first until I realized that they wouldn't explain it until the last few chapters. And it also really didn't explain it at all! There were characters that I thought would be crucial but ended up never really coming back. Also, you mean to tell me that they didn't speak for 2 years and neither of the moved on and just got back together? It did have some funny chapters though and I will give the author that. This was such a confusing story and the only thing that kept me reading it was because I wanted to understand exactly what I was reading.
