A Trace of You - Reviews

It's a VERY MEDIOCRE story. 

I suppose the biggest turn-off was Amnesia. The research wasn't done... at all. The main character was having it whenever it fitted him. It was quite horrible. Another thing is the timeline. It was all over the place. 

The story revolves around a couple and a 'friend' who is prone to self-harm. To be honest, he might be the negative character but I liked him the most. At the end of the story, he was just cut off.🤷‍♀️

I mean...the art is cute and it has a very warm ambiance but that's it...this is the only exterior you get because inside is empty.

I would not recommend it. 

I really liked the serious drama involved with this shounen ai because we get to explore more of Sihoo and Yesung as characters. Sihoo has amnesia which is the cause of his house being burnt down and the father unfortunately passed because of it. That takes a toll on him forgetting who Yeung is and why he is so interested in Sihoo in the first place. Yesung is such a prince like he is a definitely a hopeless annoying romantic but a very cute bean at the same time hehe. 

I wouldve liked to have seen more of Taehyuk being more developed as a character. Yeah I know he wants Sihoo (obviously the case in typical love triangle stories) but I just want to see his side of things. It's funny that I say this with a genre I'm not a big fan of when it comes to love triangle side characters BUT it would've been nice to see Taehyuk's viewpoint of the story.

Also folks, y'all are not ready for the ending like it's just wonderful💖💖💖💖

(spoiler free review) Ok so a problem i had with this is i was confused a lot of the time. The timeline was kinda all over the place & certain events/scenes were not explained properly. Also, theres a character in here that i think could hv been fleshed out better. On the plus side, the art is gorg & im a sucker for drama so yea. I would say this a short story to satiate a drama lovers taste buds. main genres imo: shounen ai, drama
