Extra chapter from Ao Haru Ride volume 8.
A story about a "drab" girl named Inoue who builds up walls of apathy to protect femself and a "popular" guy named Riku who innocently takes things at face value and doesn't shy away from putting effort into what fe wants. The plot is a pretty simple love confession, overcoming anxieties type of thing. It's alright. Got a solid beginning, middle, and end. The titular "familiar face" is referring to how Inoue thought Riku's face felt familiar, how it felt reminiscent of feir first crush. Riku's purity is cute and probably the most standout thing of the manga.
