Whether in the city or in the classroom, the zombie apocalypse has infected all aspects of life. Natsumi and Hasegawa must flee for their lives after attending an outdoor festival; Hayashi and his peers are trapped at school due to their patrolling zombie teacher; and a young couple has as much sex as possible so that when they die, they will continue to have fun day after day. These tales and more feature the ZQN.
Some of the art is really good, some of it's mediocre, and at least one story has art I would consider downright bad. Ditto for the stories. A few of the stories (ch. 1, 5, and 7) play around with the idea that the zombies from the I Am A Hero world retain the behavioral habits from when they were alive. Quite a few of the stories (ch. 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7) deal with romantic themes. Two of the stories (ch. 2 and 6) don't even deal with zombies at all. And then the final chapter is presented as a documentary about the creation of the manga and the author's life from high school to mangaka. My favorite chapter is either four or seven. Chapter four tells the story of two high schoolers who don't really care for each other but end up together at a fireworks festival where everyone turns into a zombie and then subsequently having to barricade themselves inside a crashed truck. Chapter seven tells the story of Hamada heroically shitting feir pants (it makes sense) and leading a class in a daring escape from their zombie teacher.
