The oneshot "Too" in chapter 4 of "5 Seconds" shares similarities with Sachimo's other work "Flaver". Both stories follow a dark-haired protagonist who's had a cat-and-mouse relationship with a blond-haired guy who's known since high school or middle school. Since they first met, the blond guy has been intrigued by the standoffish but observant protagonist. Although the protagonist is less popular and has not been offended by the blond guy, he treats him as enemies and as equals that are continually fighting for dominance.
At first, it seems that the blond-haired one is one-sidedly doggedly (Flaver actually compares him to a dog) following the protagonist but the protagonist isn't wholly uninterested. He's been the only one to see through the blond guy's fake smiles and affable persona and the only one that the blond guy reveals his true personality too. It turns out that they've been tracking each other's movements for years but never pursuing each other to the end of the chase, eventually leading to a culmination of years of unresolved tension.
