As a child, Mondo Fujieda reached out to a quiet, solitary girl named Izayo Gorugo. Rumored to have a family of assassins, everyone believed Izayo to be a weird liar, except Mondo; so one day on a field trip, he offered her a piece of candy - a piece of candy which promptly caused her to vomit. Swearing to kill him one day, Izayo moved away; and over the years, Mondo became a proper delinquent. Now, in high school, Mondo is surprised to see Izayo back in his life as a transfer student - and she's ready and willing to make good on her promise. With a gang of thugs to back him up, Mondo will do whatever it takes to keep his life intact, much to his dismay!
Extra chapter from Gintama volume 38.
This is silly. The humor is built around the juxtaposition of mundanity and absurdity, as well as just the exaggerated nature of the absurdity in general. There are some moments that flirt with nonsensicality--these are what's commonly known as "gags." If you've read Gintama, then you'll have a decent idea of the type of humor to expect. Some jokes land and are slightly funny. Others don't. Other than the humor, there isn't really much to say about this oneshot. The artwork is pretty bad. The assassination attempts are underwhelming and could've been a lot more engaging and creative. The character arcs are okay...I guess, but the shifts don't always feel justified and moreso just feel like they were included to make the jokes work and to make the story feel like it has a resolution. I'd recommend this to fans of Gintama, for sure, and to anybody looking for some simple gags. But I also wouldn't expect anybody to reread this or consider it amazing or anything.
I am sorry but i don't found that funny, it is really short and hard to find but i just don't like the character and the story. I found it that too light but at least it's original
This is a hilarious cute story of revenge. Oddly enough it has a Kill Bill feel to it so if you liked that movie a lot you'll enjoy this read. It has the typical Japanese weirdness to it that definitally adds to the story with some romance thrown in there. Short and sweet you'll be page turning so fast to see what happens!
