11 eyes For those who are wondering, the manga is almost 1: 1 like the anime, only with minimal variation. In addition, the ending in the manga is different (but the result is the same), but it is heavily rushed. So what's this about again? You take the typical "School Superpower Setting" and give it an attractive theme of an alternative world, the "Red Night", and add 6 of the worst characters you can imagine. No exaggeration, the manga could have been so much better if it had been done by a more experienced writer. Since the plot of the concept was reasonably appealing, it could hardly be taken seriously due to the bottomlessly bad and empty implementation. The drawings in the manga (backgrounds) were subtle and attractive, I especially liked the design of the "Black / Dark Knights", even though it made me feel like a 12-year-old, I found them quite cool. The rest of the characters are proportionally poorly drawn, with both eyes, hands, and movements. Even if you saw that the author had improved to the end. Nevertheless, it was not a nice experience for my eyes. And then the characters ... the naive, sad background protagonist without depth and who hardly brought a good dialogue. The overripe, big-breasted, serious tsundere beauty of the school, who happens to belong to some important house as always and is a swordmaster. A charged type that is hyperactive. A hyperactive woman wearing glasses (a little more refreshing). The big-breasted nurse with sexual jokes. A kudere that was ... almost ... irrelevant. AND ladies and gentlemen, the second protagonist, our copy and paste childhood friend who could only say the name of the protagonist. This oversized, sympathetic cast was represented here. You can read the manga out of curiosity, but I don't recommend it. Especially for someone who already has many years of experience. Newbies wouldn't notice all these stereotypes and bad writing.

Despite it being rather different from its anime counterpart I think they had an idea and sort of simply ran with it for most of the story. Sort of like pants on fire but no water to put it out. It's by no means exceptional in any way other than that damn eye patch being swag. Honestly I only kept reading out of the fact I wanted to see that eye patch bust or something. IDK there's alot of plot but not enough substance in the end. I was just dragged around most of the time and felt sort of pointless near the end to continue reading. The only real saving point is that they changed events in the anime from the manga, making the manga better in comparasion. But if you enjoy stories with chicks and swords I mean hey, whatever floats your boat? There's just not much else to really say...

Warning this review may contain spoilers: So this is my review for the 11eyes manga hopefully this will be better than my poorly written one for the anime. Well to start off the story follows a boy Kakeru mainly and how he gets dragged into a fantasy world with a close friend, Yuka (who is slightly annoying and I really don't like her much). Then he gets involved with all this fighting demons and stuff, blah blah blah. Pretty much follows the same story as the anime, makes sense as they were both based off the same Eroge and made around the same time. STORY The overall story seemed to be pretty well laid out, there was tension and drama between chapters and the start of the story was well written. They also did a good job at drawing an audience in from the looks of it. Another thing is that how the situation was explained, like why they were being dragged into this other world, was well sorted out in the early chapters. BY chapter 6 we had the main 6 characters in the story from here you would expect it to get better. At the halfway point the story seems strong but rushed slightly, I guess this is because they are aiming it to be a short manga. Chapter 6 though seemed like they were only trying to build the realtionship between certain characters. Chapter 7 seemed strange...but I guess that is just me. Finally the final chapters, it all seemed way to forced and rushed, personally this manga needed a few more chapters. Something just seemed off. However this ending was much better than the ecchi pointlessness of the anime. ART The art was well drawn I personally thought it was well presented overall. However I wish that there was slightly more detail in the character's eyes due to the fact that when they weren't coloured I thought that the detail that could of been there wasn't there. CHARACTERS The characters were alright, like in the anime I liked some characters and hated others. Kakeru was your typical character that is weak at the start but then grows to become one of the strongest. Yuka, the annoying childhood friend that annoyed me so much in both anime and manga. Other characters I wish there was more development for them. This short manga had pretty much no character development and let down the manga quite a bit. Overall this manga was average, the character development was weak but the storyline ideas were there. They just needed a bit more
