Sweet. I thought the movie was going to be a recap of the series. Now that I know it's new material I am hyped as fuck for this. Thunderbolt Fantasy was one of my 2016 favorites. This will be a nice snack to tide me over until season 2.

I just watched this, figuring right before season 2 starts was probably a good time (also I somehow didn't know there was a movie until just recently...), and man I'm ready for more! Also some interesting tie-ins for S2 at the end there....

The little behind-the-scenes stuff during the credits was super cool, I'd love to see some of that going into more details on how they actually make these puppets do all this stuff :o

I feel bad about what happened to Sheng, it really felt like his life was screwed over by Lin at the end of that part. Shang was a real bro to that guy who was impersonating him. I already get the feeling that I'm going to like the red-headed character. And it was cool to see how the hand puppets were handled. Already feel the hype for the 2nd season!
