I think I'm going to start writing my will now, in case I die in the process of watching this show.
I'm watching this.
I like the character designs. .-. and uh the music is eh but
i think its the DRRR guy composing this
The paper that the will is written on will be included.
What the hell? Like what the actually heck happened here? Unbelievably stupid.
First off, I want to rant about Nice being alive. Aside from the fact that I hate him as a character, I thought it would be ONE thing that I could say that was positive about this series; they killed off the MC. Apparently it was all just an act though. Hamatora is ridiculously silly, and any sense of sadness or dread that presented itself from the finale (not that there was much) was gone.
So when Art held a gun to Nice's head, Nice was too perfect not to be shocked his best friend was holding a gun to him, or Art was so stupid and decided he didn't what to shoot him in the first place? Speaking of which, why is Art alive? There is no way that him being alive will be resolved in a believable or good way.
God, the conflict this episode with Hikaru was just freaking dumb too. Was I supposed to laugh at any part of it? I actually liked the strange color filter during the action scenes of the first Hamatora so that being removed was more or less annoying, but didn't hold a candle to the ridiculousness of the other things that happened here.
The dialogue was absolutely terrible. Nice's PORN DVDS? haha no. Not funny at all, just stupid. Also, why the hell did the others have to put up the act that Nice was dead? If it was to hide his appearance as that strange cat thing, I still don't find it necessary that the others had to pretend that Nice was dead the entire freaking time.
There is one positive thing I can say about this episode. Why am I watching this..? Why did I decide to finish Hamatora and watch this? Because I want something to rant about! Re.Hamatora will give me plenty to scream to the heavens of how bad it is.
The fuck was up with the first episode... This show really doesn't get how humour works. And hot diggity damn, following up your asspull with what seems to be another asspull? I trusted you, Hamatora, I thought you were going to give me some explanations ~(>_<~)
EDIT: Ah, seems I won't be the only one suffering through this show. Cheers, CaptainPancakes!
There are going to be much more asspulls from here, Ailly. You can just tell. There are at least ten more asspulls that could be made right now.
EDIT: @Ailly We shall suffer together with GenericUser and perhaps Bradalee is he manages to force himself
Hahaha... that first episode was so lamely retarded and cringey, I barely have any will power at the moment to talk about it.
Although to express a couple of a points:
- The scene transitions and jumping around was annoying as always, it literally cut every 5 or so seconds in the middle of the episode
-The dating sim imagination part made me lose brain cells
-Lame sub plot is lame, the insane fan girl with her party of thugs that looked like losers was plain awful and random
And that's all I'm going to say, CP sums up the rest pretty well.
Wow so much hate for Hamatora :p Well I actually enjoyed Season 1 and that cliffhanger was insane not to mentioned I really enjoyed that last fight and found Moral to be an interesting character even though I hated his guts.
Anyways on to Season 2, Not surprised they didn't pick it up from where it left off but I actually though Art had killed Nice from last season but in the opening Nice was shown so I was just wondering how he would come back and well he came back alright in typical Nice fashion. The entire episode was meh and even I can say it was probably bad but the end of it redeemed itself in my eyes, I'm just watching this to see what happens between Nice and Art.
Well the OP was a big spoiler that what happened in the beginning of this episode was just BS anyways, lol.
I did like the OP though tbh. The song and animation was nice.
episode 1... i liked it, as i did the original. finally got some explanation of Nice's snapping/movement powers. hajime was awesome. i find birthday interesting mostly because of the visuals of him biting a taser to activate his powers.
looking forward to seeing how the story transpires.
That was completely terrible.
So Art has a minimum that apparently makes him immortal? Dear mother of god, this is such awful writing and a complete load of horseshit. But wait, the asspulls get much bigger, not only is he pretty much a god, somehow with his magical needles he can steal other people's minimums too? What the fuck Hamatora, are you serious? The writers seem to be pulling crap out of fucking nowhere now and it's contrived as can be. To take another example here he manages to break into a facility with the student ID he held on to this whole entire time? That's pretty damn convenient .....and what is up with having so many lame ass characters in this show? The trio who try to stop him who are all dressed up in gaudy super hero clothes had me face palming from the sheer cheesiness in that part. Also deadly paper airplanes because that's supposed to be cool I guess? Then we had Art's dreadful line about bearing everyone's sins which really came off as stupid pretentious nonsense and so pathetic I'm still stunned from how horrible it was.
The flashback made little to no sense either. If his intent was to kill Nice I really don't see why he couldn't have just shot him in the head right there instead of his shoulder but then again I can't expect this show to have any form of actual logic.
This is going to be a looooong way to the bottom.
So basically Nice just got lucky when he was supposed to die. Or Art was a dumbass. Maybe both.
life is struggle
Hamatora, pls, no more comedy. That scene with the three superheroes was such a mood-whiplash and cringey as hell.
And of course, Art has a Regeneration Minimum. You'd wonder how he didn't find out sooner. I mean, the dude never got a cut or broke a bone or fell or something? No, he has to get shot multiple times first for it to activate, because PLOT! And now he can just remove Minimums with a simple syringe? What happened with having to take out people's brains? And for the love of god, do you really need to introduce any more new characters?! It's not like you're developing the existing ones, right? It's just... UUUUGGGHHH
This show also has the most distracting scene transitions ever. Was it already this bad in the first season? I didn't really notice it till now, but man, it takes you completely out of whatever's happening.
1) Art is an awful villain.
2) The 5 meter thing is BS.
3) The Wind Minimum guy was stupid.
4) Art suddenly got very buff. I want his workout method.
5) The wallet conversation was cringing.
6) I'm not going to question why the crazy guy pretended he was blind because he was CLEARLY CRAZY.
7) Art pls, you've collected TONS of different minimums. Why the hell do you need more to beat a few people? Oh right. Plot.
8) Honey turning into a baby was stupid. I'm sure the resolution will still be stupid.
9) Art you have a freakin' regeneration minimum. You can go on and keep dying and still not die so why don't you just go ham on these people?! Plus you got that paper airplane minimum so just spam that. Gosh at least TRY to put up a fight.
10) So I'm just going to magically accept Art got the prison dropoff times because well he's an AWESOME villain and he can do things like that!
11) The pancake monologue in the beginning was cringing.
12) Hajime best girl.
13) Still wish Art stayed dead.
14) More villains to come. Yaaay...
15) The scene transitions are still stupid.
16) I hate this show.
dis episode was struggle
Ganbatte, Pancakes-kun! ＼＼\(۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶//／／ Let's just pretend that the creators are only faking their incompetence and that there will be this huge pay-off in the last two episodes were all the plotholes and ass-pulls start to make sense!
Haha, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Art suddenly looked pretty damn fine. But then again, he has been hiding dem muscles under his suit in the previous season, so that may explain it. He is also waaaaaaaaay to OP, like really. Not only can he basically teleport short distances with the Light Minimum, he has unlimited weapons via the blood thing, can control the wind AND he can't die. What's holding him back from total world domination?
Yes! We can all do it
........Just no, can someone please bash Kishi over the head with a frying pan? Because none of this made any sense again and the 5m thing was random as hell.
Also, I'm pretty sure whoever wrote in that chess one liner must've snorted 10 pounds of cocaine to think that in any way sounded cool.
