Hi,

I wonder how can I add a tag to anime or request adding tag to anime, please? (Kodomo no jikan is a typical Age-gap and I don't understand how in the world it is not tagged as such...)

And just curious, what is difference between GL x Shoujo ai and BL x Shounen ai? Are two tags for the same thing only translated really a must? Isn't that overdone? If not I'd love somebody to correct my wrong opinion.

Thanks for answers!

If you want to request tags be added then post here: https://www.anime-planet.com/forum/forums/anime-manga-tag-submissions.145/
Before posting any requests it's important you read the tag guidelines and explain why you want the tag added. Tag guidelines can be found here: https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/tags

GL (Girls Love) is the tag for all shoujo-ai and yuri content.
BL (Boys Love) is the same as GL a tag for all yaoi and shounen-ai content.
For the difference between shoujo-ai and yuri or shounen-ai and yaoi read their tag descriptions as ZK said above.
They are an easier method of searching though all of that together.

If your wondering why boys love and girls love is all separated it's since they are two different fan based so users wouldn't want to search though them both together for what they want.

I got another question. Whenever I search for a One-Shot manga, for a quick read, the mangas that usually pop up are specials of a longer manga. Is there any way/tag to make only appear those One-Shots that are original?

You can filter out Pilot Chapters but not Oneshots related to franchises at this time.

That's not exactly what I am searching for. What I want are one-shots that are just that. One chapter. Like Zanuff the Butcher (https://www.anime-planet.com/manga/zanuff-the-butcher) which is just that sole chapter and doesn't have a sequel or franchise. Unlike Pilots, that might have a sequel or something based on it. But anyways, thanks Grizz
