The last episode of Higehiro and Miss Nagaotoro are premium locked even though the series is finished. I’m pretty sure only ongoing anime have the newest episode premium only, so why are these episodes locked if the series is finished?

The last episode of Higehiro and Miss Nagaotoro are premium locked even though the series is finished. I’m pretty sure only ongoing anime have the newest episode premium only, so why are these episodes locked if the series is finished?

The series being finished or not doesn't matter. The latest seasonal anime episodes are locked behind Crunchyroll's premium service for one week from the date they air. This is beyond our control and an intentional part of their service, not a bug.
