    When you open your profile and got to Anime tab (/users/USERNAME/anime) you are presented with your anime list.

    This list can be sorted by selecting an option from sort drop-down:

    However, this drop-down does not allow you to sort anime by year, average, etc... E.g.: if you wish to sort anime by year you have to switch from grid view mode to table view mode then sort your anime list and switch back into grid view mode.

    As a user, I wish to be able to sort by year, average, etc. in grid view mode by choosing sort order in the drop-down.

    The following is HTML for the drop-down

    HTML:
    <select onchange="window.location='?sort=' + this.value;">

    <option value="title">Name</option>
    <option value="rating">Rating</option>
    <option value="user_updated">Recently updated</option>
    </select>
    You just need to add few more options into it and it will work.
    E.g.:
    HTML:
    <select onchange="window.location='?sort=' + this.value;">

    <option value="title">Name</option>
    <option value="rating">Rating</option>
    <option value="user_updated">Recently updated</option>
    <option value="year">Year</option>
    <option value="average">Average user's rating</option>
    # yada yada
    </select>
    Thank you for your hard work!

    Interesting! The very same sort drop-down should be present on the user's profile in the anime tab. But there is one with different sort options.

    Anyway, thank you for sharing this neat trick with me howsoever I barely find it helpful. I already know that I can switch to table view sort the anime and switch back in order to sort the list by year or any other missing sort option. This will work for other people's profile too.

    Let's say I wish to see what is the latest anime you have on your list. I would open your profile, anime tab, switch to table view, sort by year, switch back to grid view.

    I don't think you can do the same on the "Browse anime" page.
