This thread has been fairly quiet since Secret Santa started, but its still gonna be a couple weeks before I get those recommendations so I figured its still a good time to find some recommendations here.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a good fantasy anime that takes place in some kind of war zone and Griffons, Pegasus, Wyverns, Witches, Dragons or any other mythical fliers play a major role in battle. An anime that has one or two episodes dedicated to the hero slaying a dragon does not count.
Among the anime I have seen so far, something like Strike Witches would be perfect, Radiant and GATE could also be considered borderline passable. I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with.
