    Phoenix King whatever
It's the same Stephen Lai vehicle of two voice actors, a barely coherent plot, spliced together and re-used scenes, and swiping from other IPs. The use of the Xabungle OP was incredibly lit and made this the best DTAB title yet.

Transformers + gundam ripoff. Well at least the plot was unique. It was a very in-depth and though(less) provoking political commentary on immigration.

    1.0/5 (it was bad)

I never thought I would see a crossover with hi no tori, Gundam, transformers and a host of other properties. What is odd though is transformers came out in the same year of 1984 when this film was produced.....

Another great dubbing production from Joseph Lai. Just making sure no one forgot about it after seeing his name appear 3 times in the long ass opening. Animation was uh not the worst, but lots of reused cels, forgetting to colour cels and low amount of frames in most scenes. Soundtrack was loud and badly sound mixed.

Pretty standard space "horror". It was actually decent... with cats and tentacles. Needed more gore.
Captain was chill... but I guess that happens when you are 240 years old.

2.0/5 (below average, with is above average for DTAB)

    Buttobi! CPU something
You know, for a creepy wish fulfilment rape fantasy with loads of mangled computer terms, it wasn't too bad. It was perverted but also insanely innocent in the most annoying ways, and the actual conflict was really underwhelming. Still, I guess it delivered a complete narrative, and it had evil American computers with big bazongas that needed no masters.

    Almost too good for DTAB.
Needed more computer innuendo. It was pretty awesome otherwise.

It's like watching idiots try to survive zombies. Well, it's not "like", it IS.

At least it was laughably bad at times.

What a fucking hoot this was together with the fine Anime-Planeteers in VC. A few cold ones and laughing at silly zombie antics made for a very entertaining evening, despite the film's various shortcomings (sloppy animation, meh voice acting, lacklustre beginning). It had loads of incidental comedy, like a few crying scenes and the zombies having troubles with stairs. If only all bad anime was like this.

Esper school girls use their esper powers to save their school from other evil espers with esper powers that tried to use their esper powers to take over the school from the hero girl espers that protect their school from evil espers.

    It kept my attention.

    The Gakuen Choujotai

The title wasn't what I thought it would be. But the music is pretty slapping, the 240 style is so hilariously old school, the subs are big for the blind and degrade sometimes in quality, it's predictably silly, oddly endearing, kinda dumb, like really dumb with high school nazi psychics trying to take over the school and Mai is one hot mama jama.

2/5, credit song has a pimp guitar riff.

Fantastic writing, animation, and audio quality, this is a real classic. Heavily inspired by my life story, so I demand 50% of the revenue.

Diatron 5 is a surrealist piece of media from the 80's. It really changed my world view, and how I view anatomy in general. Who knew there were goblins, a full blown monarchy, outerspace and spaghetti trees in me. It is heavily inspired by the fantastic voyage, transformers, willy wonka but with bread and spaghetti trees, and the fever dreams of my childhood. It really was good mental workout, because my mind was racing to decipher the complex metaphors that only someone who has the intellect to watch Rick and Morty could understand.
