[Bug] Year Search glitch with manga

Okay, I went through this link on the 60's-70's Monthly Marathon thread that supposedly lists all of the manga made in the 60's and 70's. The thing is that I noticed that there are some manga that should be there but are not (such as Ryu no Mitchi (which was made in 1970) and MW (which was made in 1978). There might be even more that I don't even know about). Like wise there are some manga that were made in the 50's that were on the list even though they shouldn't be. I double checked to make sure this was a glitch on the site. So, I did a year search with the manga using those same parameters. I got the exact same results. As far as I know, this glitch only seems to affect the manga (as the 60's-70's anime list seems fine), but you might want to double check the year search feature for the anime too just to be sure. In any case, the year search for the manga is glitched and needs to be fixed.

I think I understand what it is doing.
If you use links like

[url]https://www.anime-planet.com/manga/all?sort=year&order=asc&year=1962

you notice that the what is listed are actually manga that the site thinks was seralized during that year. all those manga you see with older years ran through these dates

All manga shown "ran" through 2002 in the above link

Anime searches are doing the same thing.

Not sure this is a bug, just something not wholly intuitive.

Actually, knowing this is what is going on my change how I viewed a similar bug I posted earlier, which is bugged, just it may not be entirely what I thought it was.

This might explain why manga from the 50's showed up. However, that does not explain the manga that should've shown up but didn't (such as MW and Ryu no Mitchi).

That seems to be some glitch with the specific manga entries. For example, ryuu no michi (very important to get the spelling right with ap's database, took me a dozen searches including several google ones to find that one on ap based on the speling you used) was done in 1970 according to it's entry page. But if you go to https://www.anime-planet.com/manga/years/1970?l=r there are 0 results. The same happens if you do a search for a span such as 1968-1972 instead of just one specific year.
