With 2 weeks before the start of the Spring season, now is as good as ever for you guys to help me help you figure out what is there to watch.. Been I while since I've gone to a 20+ worth of anime to watch.

Extremely excited for are:

Etoma
Gintama
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku
My Love Story!!
Punch Line
Re-Kan!
Sound! Euphonium
The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan
Urawa no Usagi-chan

Outside of Gintama, these are mostly series I've never heard of, so they'll provide a nice unexpectedness going into it.

Series I'm going to watch but not as excited as the ones above either because I already read it, a sequel, skeptical and/or some other BS I'll think of later.:

Ace of the Diamond: Second Season
Denpa Kyoushi
Digimon Adventure Tri.
Hello!! Kin-iro Mosaic
Houkago no Pleiades TV
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying Thread 2
Kekkai Sensen
Ninja Slayer From Animation
Robot Girls Z+
Seraph of the End
Shokugeki no Souma
Takamiya Nasuno Desu!
Teekyuu 4
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo TV

Here's looking for a good season of anime.

Here's what I'm going to watch.

-Gintama. This one is a no-brainer, I fucking love every second of the show.
-Yahari 2. Cleverly written, engaging, many characters to love. I just hope the new team will know how to handle it.
-Digimon Adventure Tri. As a child I was a big fan of the first two Digimon seasons and having rewatched the first season with some of the awesome people here just rekindled that passion. I've had my pet peeves with the character art shown so far, but it's still a style that indicates we should be getting something worth the nostalgia rather than another shitty sequel among all the others after the ''golden era''.
-Ore Monogatari. The manga is hilarious and adorably cheesy, with a loveable main trio. Madhouse is doing this one and given their recent high quality stuff my expectations are high.
-Arslan Senki. Tanaka is the original writer of this story and Arakawa is a mangaka I really respect, so expectations are high here too. PVs also looked good.
-Kekkai Sensen. By Yasuhiro Nightow, author of Trigun. I'm pretty curious.
-GitS Arise TV. I want to watch this, but first I'll need to get around to the new set of OVAs.
-Teekyu 4. I... I didn't even know this was coming. It just made me about 2x as hyped for spring, even though it's a short. I have way too much fun with this random, silly piece of joy.
-Ninja Slayer. I don't know much about this one, but it looks interesting and I want to at least check it out.
-Punchline. Just because it's noitaminA. I mean, the animation looks really smooth going by the PVs but other than that and the curiosity of seeing Uchikoshi on the writing credits, it looks pretty damn bad and full of cringey fanservice.

Those are the ones I'll watch for sure. The rest is either doubtful or a resounding no. To mention some, I'm surprised Sidonia sold enough to warrant a second season. I didn't like it, so I'll just watch it if I feel like completing the story for the sake of completing it. Same goes for Fate, because this adaptation has proven to be just a tad better than the Deen original and that's mostly just due to pretty fight scenes.

I'm watching:
Arslan Senki
Fate/stay 2
High School DxD BorN
Kekkai Sensen
My Love Story!!
Ninja Slayer From Animation
Nisekoi:
Shokugeki no Souma
Sound! Euphonium
The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan
Yahari Zoku

Thinking About:
Denpa Kyoushi
Seraph of the End

Nothing stand out this season, not for my preferences anyway. Though might pick up:

  • Digimon Adventure Tri, because you know, childhood memories with the Digimon series
  • Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation, Square Enix fan!
  • Kekkai Sensen
  • Plastic Memories

...and that's about it.

I'm planning on watching:

Definitely:
The Dissapearence of Nagato Yuki Chan
Fate/Stay UBW 2
Dragonball Z: Ressurection F
Likely:
Denpa Kyoushi
Kyoukai no Rinne
Punchline
Maybe:
Kekkai Sensen
Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation
Sidonia no Kishi Movie
Anime-gatari
Re-Kan!

I haven't seen season 1 of Sidonia no Kishi, Nisekoi or Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru so i can't watch them yet. Also I have yet to watch any Gintama so that can't be on my list either.

BB you jacknuts, you should be super pumped for Shokugeki no Soma, or "Food Porn" because you know it'll make that show about cute girls eating food all erotic like look like shit.

Denpa Kyoushi - Aw snap, Denpa Kyoushi! I remember reading that and then stopping! Should be like Kami... that guy who dates all those hot chicks to save them from spirits or something. Gaming God who gets all the fine women. You know the one. I'm probably there.

Digimon Adventure Tri - It's Digimon. It has Kari. It's about the original six. 'Nuff said.

Etotama? I don't know. It looks like it's about a bunch of chicks and probably some dude with a harem. Wait, what the hell is this?

High School DxD Boners - I'd probably watch it despite not finishing any other season of it.

Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls while blah blah - Why not. Guy is probably getting all the fantasy babes. He should totally pick up a dark elf.

Kekkai Sensen - You see that preview image? How badass is that? Seriously fucking badass that I totally want to watch it. Who gives a fuck about what it's about? I'm totally judging this by it's cover.

Kyoukai no Rinne - Reminds me of Rumiko Takahashi and something from over 2 decades ago.

Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku - This is like 4 other shows I know this season or kinda like them. I'm so in.

Ninja Slayer From Animation - Title, check. Ninjas, check. Sorrowful backstory? Check. Spirit that possesses a guy to kill evil ninjas in totally badass nut exploding fights? Check.

Seraph of the End - This... doesn't really look like vampires, judging by the cover. But I'm in.

Shokugeki no Souma
- Who doesn't get boners from delicious looking food, am I right?

Show By Rock!! - Just want to say that the title is giving me some kind of malevolent pox.

Tirage X - Dat ass.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo TV - Good manga, should be good stuff.

I would have to look at the synopsis for them to really know which ones i'll check out but just from looking at the list on this thread...

Digimon Adventure Tri; Without a doubt the thing i'm most excited for. I watched Digimon Adventure & Season 02 so many, many times as both a kid and an adult.

I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying 2; I liked Season 1, so i'll keep going with this.

I don't really recognize anything else.

Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon sounds interesting, just based off the name.

Does anyone know is; The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan a Haruhi thing? If so, I will probably watch that.

I'll have to look up the rest.

Only 3 for me this season, too many older shows I want to get through.

Ninja Slayer
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Exposition Works 2
Arslan Senki

Sequels aside (everytime I remember there's another Saint Seiya anime I cringe a lot) I'm really excited for:

Arslan Senki: This really needed to eb redone (though I'd have preferred if they kept the previous designs)
Ninja Slayer: I'll be happy if it's as badass as Mazinkaiser SKL and as awesome as Inferno Cop and KlK combined.
Triage X: This one is going to be a trainwreck, and as such it's impossible to look away no matter how awful it is.
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo: I heard the source material is good

I'll probably just end up watching Digimon and Ninja Slayer but Kekkai Sensen and Arslan could be a great time investment as well.

Does anyone know is; The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan a Haruhi thing? If so, I will probably watch that.I'll have to look up the rest.

It is based on the Yuki-Chan Manga which is a Spin-off/Alternate realtity story. It is based in the same universe as the majority of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. So yes it is a Haruhi thing. :)

Alrighty, I took a look at some things and i'm adding to my list:

Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Seneki - Loved Season 1, definitely going to check this out.
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo TV - Looks interesting and a couple people have already mentioned it in this thread.
Beyond the Boundary Movie: I'll Be Here - Mirai-hen - There's no synopsis for this, but the cover looks interesting. I'll keep an eye out for a synopsis or a preview, maybe try and google one tonight.
Dragon Ball Z Movie 15: Resurrection 'F' - I just gotta.
Sidonia no Kishi Movie - It's a recap, so it'll probably be eh... but at the same time Sidonia~ <3
New Initial D Movie: Legend 2 - Dokusou - Not sure why they are rehashing Initial D, but the first movie wasn't as bad as I expected.
Rainy Cocoa - This really doesn't appeal to me, but I feel like I should watch the first episode simply because of this synopsis sentence: An ordinary college student, Aoi Tokura, was having a bad day. It was so bad because he was called ugly by a good-looking guy on the train.

^there isnt one for mirai yet, we'll add it once there is :)

Looking forward to:

Soma: Love the manga, hopefully it will be a grand adaption
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying Thread 2: First season had me entertained
Nisekoi:: Might as well since I did enjoy season one to some extent, hopefully less cut content this time.
My Love Story!!: Like the manga, hopefully the anime won't disappoint.
Yahari 2: LOVE season one
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo TV: Been following the manga since release, looking forward to this

and of course

GINTAMA
I've been waiting for this for so long, and the wait will be completely worth it!

I'll be checking out some others, but these are where all my hopes lie.

Rainy Cocoa - This really doesn't appeal to me, but I feel like I should watch the first episode simply because of this synopsis sentence: An ordinary college student, Aoi Tokura, was having a bad day. It was so bad because he was called ugly by a good-looking guy on the train.

It looks like the "cute guys doing cute stuff" show of the season. Also looks like massive fujoshi bait. Will watch of course :megusta:

Other shows I'm definitely going to watch:
- Digimon Adventure Tri (because erhmergerd, nostalgia!)
- Shokugeki no Souma
- I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying 2
- Ore Monogatari!!
- Sound! Euphonium (because erhmergerd, KyoAni!)
- Narudoma (advertised as BL, but there doesn't seem to be lots of boys lovin' in it... And it kinda looks like shit :T)
- Seraph of the End (just because it looks god damn amazing, the story's probably gonna suck)
- BAR Kiraware Yasai (it's a show with talking vegetables, bet it'll be entertaining as hell)
- Vampire Holmes (looks like the worst show in the line-up, so definitely a must-watch)
- Ninja Slayer

Punchline
does look like it's going to crash and burn spectacularly, but it might also not, so I might check it out. Arslan Senki, Houkago no Pleiades, Kyoukai no Rinne and Kekkai Sensen also seem to be pretty interesting.

Digimon Adventure Tri. - I need this in my life. Now.
Etotama - I don't know why I'm doing this. But I'm doing this.
Plastic Memories - I hope this anime will delve into the implications of human-like AI, but it probably won't.
Rainy Cocoa - The synopsis made laugh. For that, I will watch it.
Re-Kan! - Protag sees ghosts but the art style is cute and bubbly? Eh, why not?
Seraph of the End - Please don't have vampire anti-heroes, please don't have vampire anti-heroes, please don't..
Sound! Euphonium - I was in orchestra as a kid, and we went to a lot of competitions. I'm hoping for some nostalgia.
Yuuyake Dandan - The cat is cute. That is all.
Arslan Senki - Has the director of Yu Yu Hakusho AKA that one anime I've seen over 4 times.

Okay, I think that's it.
