Real solid show so far. Tongue-in-cheek formulaic, but from the end of the very first episode I think it can be inferred that the episodes out so far are still in more of a setup phase to establish a status quo to jumble later while also establishing the family dynamic.
Somewhat similar to Gravity Falls in style, art snd humor (which the head of this series was staff on), but it seems paced more like early Steven Universe.

And this is basically isekai, yeah?

Hearing Sam Riegel, the voice director for many of the disney shows, basically give himself all the super tiny roles they can't be bothered to cast for is hilarious. His sister is the voice director for this series, though.

And he was the voice of Emperor Awesome in Wander over Yonder.
He's voiced various random background characters, like that one stand-owner that sold socks at the fair, among others. He's done this in a whole bunch of such tiny roles for several disney shows, and I can practically guarantee that he's the reason Liam O'Brian voiced the serenading deer character.

I thought that deer guy sounded familiar. Would have sounded more familiar if he was screaming.

Liam's rad, and he and Sam are basically husbands on the side. He's also been the voice of gollum in the new Middle-Earth games.
And, of course...
 
Goddammit, I wanna write about all these episodes but grind to a snorting and wheezing halt at Sam Riegel voicing three different frogs in rapid succession with different accents.

That's season (Part?) 1 in the books.
No answers about the box yet or where that other girl landed. But rather dramatic. Surprised they could swing "Lean On Me". That song is probably mad expensive to use.

I'm about half-way through the first season. Really great fun stuff for me, although the world is so incredibly fucked up and dark to think about. You can die so easily at the snap of a finger lawl.

Anne talking shit about pineapple pizza though, it's war now. IT IS WAR.
