These anime feature a world where a part of it is foreign and unknown, such as a forbidden area outside of an isolated community, or a mysterious dungeon or pit that has not been fully explored. These mysterious areas compel curious or adventurous people to want to see for themselves

These anime are directly or loosely based on the Sherlock Holmes novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
God-Human Relationship

These anime focus on romantic relationships between humans and deities. They may meet by chance and fall in love, or the relationship may be the result of something more sinister, such as the human being offered as a sacrifice to appease the god.
