i wasn't expecting the sad life of the kid, that's for sure, yet i kind of enjoyed it. The dead parents was passable as its not uncommon but the no friends, clearly no money and heck the incredibly pale skin (which cub-kun shows us
is intentional) was kinda of unexpected, i was as
@Nekus said, expecting a pretty chill and happy vibe show.
Anyway i did enjoy the murky part, it kind of left me feeling so bad for her, i just wanted things to work out and her line at the end, "Before, i had nothing, but now, i have my Cub" i mean, c'mon, that was adorable!
Was the sadness an ep 1 thing? will they keep the atmosphere like that? Do they plan to make the entire show slowly cheer up as the mc gets friends and stuff? I'm betting on this last one but who knows.
I think it might be likely its a slowly cheer up type show, maybe not the whole series but i doubt it will perk up rapidly...well, it
will but slowly if that makes sense. I am down for that though.
The idea of her world essentially gaining colour when she sat on it told me this is her ticket to happiness but equally i think it will take until episode 5 area for her world to feel better, like maybe she will make a friend or 2 in the following ones but still be awkward. Whatever, it's still good.
I know jackshit about bikes but watching her try to figure out what went wrong was super intense. Got me glued to the screen.
Yup, same here. I know nothing on bikes but internally my voice kept cheering her on, wanting for her to fix this thing (and i laughed when she actually started reading the manual for it, that was great!).
It's certainly a show you just want things to go her way.
