Fire Force

I can't say that Soul Eater was that much of a masterpiece later, especially the later parts in the manga which were really mediocre. Considering that Soul Eater was what got me into the medium I'm willing to give this a chance.

Let me try to scare you away from this. "Hiro Mashima, said in an interview that he was impressed how unique Ohkubo’s fanservice gags were in Fire Force and how it was unlike anything he has seen in manga" when you're getting praise from Fairy tail's author about the fanservice, that ISN'T a good thing or compliment here.

You sure know how to break a man's hope.

Oh well, what am I expecting from a show that doesn't have Excalibur. I'll just watch this gif for a few hours instead I guess.

It is bothersome when an author does the same thing that everyone else is doing, and in a way they're afraid of not getting an audience. Which of course leads to more authors using fanservice. Mashima's Rave Master series never had fanservice at the level of Fairy tail, which is part of the reason why I never got into F.T. If I had to be honest, I'll probably be left unhappy if I give this series a try, so I won't even bother.

Ep. 1

Not the best start in my opinion. Protagonist is pretty annoying and I don't know why it's necessary to keep repeating: "I'm going to be a hero" " I have to be a hero" "Aren't you going to be a hero?" " You can become a hero" 10-20 times in one episode. I mean I think I wasn't even half way through when I started to wonder when it's gonna end. I kept on watching it and probably will keep watching it only so I can listen to these awesome seiyuu that are voicing characters. It's a very nice list of them and their voices will help me endure. Also the animation is pretty nice too and those flames were pretty...

Does the main person remind anyone else of soul eater https://www.anime-planet.com/characters/soul-eater

Like everything but the hair and skin color is almost 1:1 in my opinion. (In fact, it feels like if you didn't like soul eater, then you might not like this one)

As far as the show, I'm 50/50 on this. This obviously won't be a must seen. However, I think it could be a good time killer until something better comes along.
BTW what's up with the nun? I can kinda look the other way with how the fire fighters not actually fighting fires, but fighting a demon (literally standing there while a place burns. Which is like a life guard punching demons, but standing there as people drown.). But other than praying for people, I don't understand why she is there. Like she doesn't appear to fight, she has to be saved, and it isn't like real fire fighters have a nun following them into a fire.

And yeah, Soul dug big tiddies too I guess.

I don't understand the argument against big boobs on characters lately. It feels a lot like the anti pretty women argument brought up by feminist a number of years back. Like I kinda agree with them more since super models were being photoshopped to look even more pretty, while people are complaining about x character having a big but not unrealistic rack.
There is big boob women out there. And as long as it doesn't feel like I walked into a strip club, I personally can't understand the argument against them in anime.

I mean I would at least somewhat understand the argument against lolis due to it being legal pedo porn. But, where I'm from many women have somewhere between D and F (maybe 70%-80% of women I see in my area). There is even some with natural H size or bigger, but I only ran across 1 of them. So it isn't that unrealistic for some women to have a big rack. And it isn't completely unrealistic for a small fraction of them to have cleavage in a bit of everything they wear.

Doing a quick look up, the average size in America is 34DD. So again, I don't understand the argument against big boob people in anime and games. (in fact, based on this I would say many in anime are too small)
