Well, I finished the finale. To be honest, Godzilla feels more like a side character despite the movies being named after him. And even with all of these grand themes of existentialism, I wish Haruo and the other characters could have been developed more. I didn't feel the impact the way I wanted to, so in the end it feels like a 3/5 for me.
