What is wrong with this season...

Episode One
Cherry blossoms. Little loli. Giant pair of tits that make boing noises because that is original, hilarious, and nothing engages me in the first fifteen seconds of an anime more than a desperate appeal to my fetish for tits. WOAH, LOOKS LIKE THE SIX YEAR OLD IS ACTUALLY A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT! So it's only slightly less creepy that you want to take her into your shed and pound her out like a tenderloin. I'm having a terrible time suspending my disbelief that these kindergarten aged looking moeblobs are high schoolers. This is worse than goddam Lucky Star.

-Main girl is bland
-Little Kanna clone who is shy. Wowzers.
-Girl with snaggletooth goes nyan and is soooo silly!

The midget girl sounds like Kanna even. Has the same hair color.

I can't force myself to sit through this desperate appeal to moeblobs. It's entirely generic and dull from the first second.

I love how the Kanna clone is voiced by the same VA.
Also maybe I'm crazy, but the animation in this looks pretty gross. The way the characters move feels stiff, rehearsed, and just unnatural. The show is really pretty, but every time they move I shudder.

Ooooh, so that is why it's called slow start.

it's a generic slice of life show with a cute moe artstyle and everyones favourite dragon loli is now an ordinary loli.

Honestly, it's fine with me, this anime, nothing to hate and the presentation and pacing all felt natural enough.

Well, except the landlady's chest, those are amazing.

Yeah the Kanna comments might want to check the voice actors, might explain a thing or two, i was admittedly thinking she was a kanna clone though, when i heard the voice i checked and sure enough, same VA.

Anyway, that aside, i actually liked it, its a slice of life really, i don't have much to say for it but yeah the show probably wont appeal to many of slice of life usually don't, i actually enjoy these shows though, they work for a chill mood without being so serious. Otherwise yeah i will probably keep watching it.

Well, no one in the world ever gets what they want--and that is beautiful.

That said...I liked it. I mean, it is over-animated as all get-out, and it's clearly a bunch of 11-years-olds cosplaying as 15-year-olds, and it's pretty much every post-K-On! squishy slice of life show ever...but that generally works for me, so I am all for it.

Not quite the effortless loll that was Yuru Camp, but it did make me chuckle. More often than ramen-porn. And if I'm giving that a second episode, I'm sure as shootin' coming back for seconds of this.

Yeah, this was pretty worth it. That chest is a national treasure, but... nah, that's it.

I literally can't tell her age. Her being the same height as her Boob Land Lady is more confusing. I can't even tell the age of the advisor. But Non-Boobs can pass for a younger girl but there's a girl even shorter than her. Wait, the Japanese school system might be different from the Canadian school system and I'll assume that's the truth without checking it.

Landlady has more boobs than the rest of the people in the OP.

This is so sweet it's sickening.

Her phone is blowing up with all those messages but it's adorable.

This is one of the fluffiest, most harmless things I've started this season, and I've started a few shows of this ilk. It's... charming in a way, with some nifty animation and a magnificent landlady who is absolutely excellent. Also teacher with that short hair. God yes. But no way she is 17 or most of those girls around her age unless Japan discovered a way to be eternally youthful or have their looks age even more slowly than before. Or maybe they're all slow to start the look progression into adulthood, giving the title a double meaning.
 
I have no idea how she holds that sandwich, and she poured the soup with her right hand so don't think she's left handed.

In the last episode there were a couple of parts where the animation came off weird, the shot in the top where she moves around and covers her mouth was really the only part that bothered me here. But latter Kanna reboot and twintails switch places.

Ep 2 stays the same. This is just a mediocore cute girls show that A-1 threw a little bit more money at for animation, but didn't manage to quite pull it off. It's kind of hard to be mad at this, it's just pretty and banal.
 
Episode 2
This is what this season is all about, cute girls doing cute things, whether it is heading to your local Mt.Fuji with every intention of following camp site rules and camping your night away or just chatting with your friends about nothing over lunch as you come to realise you are possibly the most unfit girl of the year, it is everything i dream of and more!!!
No really, i do love the show, these are some of my favourite types, don't ask why, they just are (:
 
This episode had more yuri in it than the first two episodes of Citrus combined. Holy smokes.

"Sis-sauce" might be my new favorite thing ever. Actually, Eiko unnecessarily explaining the joke of "sis-sauce" as sounding like her "sister's secretions" might be my new favorite thing ever, too. Actually, Tama saying that the soup "tastes like Eiko's little sister" might be m--y'know what, f*** it: that whole lunch scene was just so...bizarre, with its crackling and hilarious sexual overtones, that it's all my new favorite thing ever.

It doesn't have the enervating, effervescent personality of Yuru Camp, but this episode proved to be damn close to being just as funny.

Also: does mumps seem like an odd choice for the disease that laid her up? Or is it just an excuse to draw an adorable puffy-face Hana?
Yeah, I think we can slide this one safely into the "more please" category.

Nowhere near as funny as last week.
A stark increase in yuri, so...no problems, there. (Seriously: Eiko's got game. An ambiguous, slightly discomfiting amount of game. (Watch your back, Citrus.))

That said, honorable mention goes to:

"I'm not really going to make tamales. It was only a pun."

Which cracked me up.

I definitely got some strong Yuru Yuri vibes from this episode--which, for the record, works fine for me. But I really missed the unexpectedly sharp and bizarre jokes of last week. I like fluffy non-activity perfectly well...but you gave us gold. And I'd like to have it again.
