hi, just to let you know, that Chapter 42 (Volume 8, chapter 5) had have been released by J-novel.club on May 16, 2022.
while here still saying: Vol: 7+; Ch: 44+
Far as i can see throughout JNC app, Vol 1 & 6 have 6 Chapters, while the rest just 5,
which mean > 5 by 8 +2 = 42 Chaps ONLY have ben released in English so far ...
... which, I can get that those "extra" 2 chapters ( 43 & 44+ ) are only in Japanese!?

Yes, Anime-Planets counts are based on the original native language release, in this case japanese. Please point out manga database related issues in the correct thread here https://www.anime-planet.com/forum/forums/manga-submissions.106/
