This was recommended to me because the person "wanted me to cry" (...Your guess is as good as mine... *Shrugs*), but I did not shed a single tear whilst watching this. Like...I don't understand what was sad about it? Did I miss something, or is it because I've watched so many anime the past 20+ years, it takes a LOT for an anime to make me cry? Anyway, I guess I'd give this a 3/5 if I were to rate it, because while it was good for what it was, I wouldn't consider it a huge favorite of mine.

If there was ever another season, you could bet that I'd watch it. Also, I'm happy that there is a Live-Action, which I find wonderful as well. 4/5 if I were to rate the anime.

Never read the books, never watched the Live-Action, or played the game, but I'd give this a generous 4/5 for keeping me engaged, and giving off some Castlevania vibes. (Imo.)
