Redo of Healer

So im curious, all horrible rape fueled revenge fantasy aside. How meta is the take on healing? As a "Healer" type in just about every game I play im curious if it flavors in the BS we gotta deal with or does it just use the healing as a plot device with no actual knowledge or explaination?

The latter. The entire premise starts off with him "healing his way back in time" whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean
 
Only 2 episodes, and already 4 star rating ? hmmm

I don´t think that people should be so desperate to rate stuff.
I had hopes for this show before it aired, but 2 episodes in it´s just a bit meh.
Will continue to watch this, but with all the censor and mediocre animation you cannot really expect too much.
 
I really wonder why they even bothered to air Redo of Healer in tv since so many scenes are like 90% censored black screen
Alright so... I'll give up on the morality aspect, I'm gonna hope that everyone can see why this shit is morally corrupt.

Even ignoring that.. this show censored has no reason to exists, even if I did want to get of rape porn they don't even show it. And while in some scenes they censor it and in others the camera focuses on some other stuff something just literally nothing happens.

From 15:17 to 16:07 and from 16:14 to 16:35 NOTHING HAPPENS. We legit just fucking stare at a dumb fireplace, we don't even hear any sfx from the characters just a dumb generic ost.

This is both boring as hell and morally belongs in hell. Why do you curse me like this ALG...

If he knew he was getting drugged to go through months of being abused and rapped, why not just not drink the thing and leave, or just take your revenge early?

oh NVM, I remember the 1st episode, he felt the King's power and was afraid to try anything with the king around, and he waited for him to leave.

IDK, wasn't necessary to play along and go through all that torment a 2nd time, just heal shit and take your revenge the moment the king leaves.........

Did he want the princess to feel her torture was justified in that life? And keeping her alive to further fuck with her.......I mean initially, she did deserve to get what she got, and then perhaps killed, but mind drained and kept as a plaything..................

you know what?? this guy was kicked in the balls and fucked in the ass while chained for months IN TWO LIVES!.............who am I to decide a suitable punishment?

this is too heavily censored to enjoy though........
 
Man, this anime makes dark fantasies look like a joke. And this is from a guy who invested reading a whole volume(before this anime appeared) up to where I grew very tired of the characters and Keyaru's edgy grin. I know people are going to be watching this for the lols, but I just can't honestly. The experience is pointless to me if I don't feel sympathetic towards the characters.

But the biggest criticism is trying to air this type of anime censored.
Who wants to stare at a fucking wall or fireplace while the actual events are going on. I certainly don't, and I know others will agree with me.
This anime is doing a good job of why I felt so incensed with the series previously. So no, I definitely don't see myself watching anymore of this so called excuse for an anime.

Think I'll try to get into the Wonder Egg anime and cool off for a bit.
 
Ep 2 censored is such a joke, absolutely pointless watching it. If other episodes will be cut through censorship like this one, it loses any reasoning why it airs in this mode.

We get a bit of hentai for those who wish it, however I don't really dig this cheap pleasures. Since all in all this is mainly unbelievably edgy and it throws at you millions of reasons to hate it.
 
Episode 2
I liked this episode even more than the last, and it was good to finally see that woman get what was coming. Now I wonder what the main character is going to do with her going forward.

My one gripe with this episode was the way the censoring was handled in “those” two scenes. I can handle things being blotted out, but if the entire scene cant even be shown, it REALLY detracts from the moment. It felt like integral information was being held out of our view. I just had to guess what was happening. And I don’t know where I can watch the uncensored version at...

The dick slap to the face. I was really not expecting that.

Other than that though its genuinely baffling to me why this isn't just a Hentai? like the uncensored version still has them with camera shots where her head is blocking his groin or they dont pan all the way down to her crotch. If you are going to adapt everything you might as well go all the way. they did like the bare minimum to get the OK to air on TV i guess?

This honestly comes off as an edgy teenage fanfic rewrite of "what shield hero should have been".
Morbid curiosity will probably keep me watching this lol

Japanese porn has the strange, probably legally enforced habit of mosaicing genitals in their pornography, so the difference is even smaller when you consider that.

Honestly surprised this did not end in a facial? Though I'm sure a later Ep will show it to us in its full dripping glory. Oh boy...

I think many people who watched the uncensored version of Ep.2 kind of wish that would be the case. This makes Peter Grill look like a Disney show.
