This was pretty damn fun last year so we're going for another whirl. I'm setting this up earlier to give more time for people to watch movies for this event. Let's fucking go movie neeeeeeerds.

Copy pasta'd post(I'm lazy again):
------
While it's always nice to receive a trio of anime in your stocking during the holiday season, wouldn't it also be nice to chase those down with a trio of non-anime films chosen for you by another Secret Santa? Well, it's time to jingle your bells with the Entertainment Board's Movie Secret Santa, in which we secretly exchange movies through an intermediary (me) and users can recc up to as many as they want at their own discretion, where you can review 1 or as many as you want. It's the same concept as the anime version. Please no Japanese animation recs though for this event, as we already have the anime Secret Santa event for that. Ball park number of reccs I think is around 8-10 for most people but again at your own discretion.

Well, since I'm banned from anime Secret Santa, may as well jump in on this.

Favorite Genres: Action, Horror, Sci-fi
No-Go Genres: Romance
Other: Needs to be on Netflix, Hulu (these are the only two paid streaming options I have at this time), or free streaming service like Tubi or other such things (Youtube doesn't count unless it's 100 percent official on there, I don't want to watch something heavily modified to get past content ID). If whatever you pick isn't on those I'm willing to go for digital rental if cheap and if I have enough willpower in me to do that.

Favorite Genres: Horror, Comedy, Comedy-Drama, and Action.
No-Go Genres: N/A
Other: I don't mind gore but not a big fan of sexual content. I'd rather not feel awkward watching a sex scene with one eye on the screen and another on the door in case someone decided to just walk in.

Reviewed 10 movies last year like a champ, so I obviously got to throw my hat in too for this.

No-Go Genres: Romance
Other: I'd prefer movies newer than the 1920s of cinema

The fucker sat through all ten fucking Children of the Corn movies.

All ten of them.

I wouldn't put anything past him.

It was all worth it when Michael Bay finally got tired of the franchise and they made Bumblebee. A movie that while not a classic feels like it has a sense of fun that's not Bay's juvenile sense of humor. Bumblebutt also has some love for the cartoons which Bay's movies never showed any signs of ever having watched.

Favorite Genres: Explosions, dry comedies, movies that try to be thoughtful but fail, toxic masculinity being mocked either on purpose or inadvertentl.
No-Go Genres: stoner comedy, gross-out comedy, romantic comedy, slapstick comedy, and explosion films that do not treat explosions with enough reverence.
Other: I don't watch a lot of films, so your chances of gifting me something that I haven't seen are good. New or old isn't much of an issue, but please, keep the runtime below 150 minutes.
