People saying if dun like, dun criticized. If you dont like isekai then you... shouldnt complain about it. Yeah right. What a load.

PEOPLE COMPLAINING WILL NEVER END!!!

But seriously. Stop pretending your shit is immune to opinions. Its a terrible reason. If you dont like opinions, why not ignore them? Take your own advice

WAM: Came across all the hate for the new little mermaid live action. Jaysus do people have nothing better to do?! The poor girl :(
When the story is rooted in fiction with no real life ties, shites should not be given on race of actors really. Just hope it's a good adaption :)

I was going to say something, but I don't have the spin doctor power to not make it sound all... you know... don't whitify shit that don't need no whitifying. But I'm saying this without seeing the trailer. And in context, think of it like Avatar: The Last Airbender and it's casting choices. But like an American, I'm flying by the seat of my pants without reading all I need to know to make a sound of mind judgement.

A lot of ads are tailored based on one's own search history...
If I had ads on, I would be getting some strange porn ads.

They're not whitifying it this time.... For once. They're going the opposite road which I honestly don't mind at all, using a young woman of colour, Halle Bailey. Gods know Disney needs new takes on their remakes to keep them fresh.
But in saying that, stories like Mulan, Pocahontas and Tiana should be cast ethnically as their stories are steeped in certain cultures, all the others though have at it, sure we already had African American Cinderella.
If these people really want to get into it over race/skin colour and authenticity Ariel should be green...
WAM: When I wake up before my alarm. That's 15 more minutes I could've spent sleeping.
Try a couple hours before and not being able to go back to sleep :/
Used the time productivity by reading though

Ariel lives in a tropical region, listens to Reggae and one of her best friends is basically Jamaican. How was she white in the first place? Haha.
Oh wait, she wasn't. The H.C. Andersen version she's based on was green. So her 1989 version was redesigned for "universal appeal" as Hollywood loves to dogwhistle it.

If there is a reason to hate it for it's that it's a cheap cash grab made to capitalize on a nostalgic piece of fiction and ends up being a mediocre take that's an insult to the original and it's fans. Just like the rest of the cheap cash grab live action remakes that came before it. I mean jesus, don't people learn from the previous ones. Dumbo was pretty fucking frightening.

That said I never really liked the original Little Mermaid either.

WAM: People who don't get the hint. No, Stupid Classmate, you can not join our study group. You're

a) way too stupid and annoying
b) always late and already hold back the rest of the class with your dumb questions enough as it is
c) way too aggressive when things don't go your way

I don't feel it's our responsibility to make up for your failings. Fuck off and leave us alone.

For people like that, I would just go straight for the jugular. But you know that's just me, I've gotten way more blunt about this since I was a teen with my fiascos in university.
