Yuri was one of the only decent characters in this show, the others being Naoi and Iwasawa. The other characters are purposeless and cliche, especially Tenshi and Yui.
Yurippe is a great character she wasn’t used enough in the series. She was really interesting with her fucked up story. And the fact she’s been doing this Battlefront thing for a long time(It’s said she’d probably be a grandma by now) it’s anazing how strong she is
For Yuri, thats because she didn't trust Angel and the Afterlife at first.Coupled by the fact that she was angry at God for being given the short stick of her previous life. You can't expect her to trust Angel and the Afterlife immediately.Unlike Haruhi, she actually apologised to her and at least didn't sexually assault her friends. The true extent to how she cares about her group is highlighted in the second episode. In it, along with the most intriguing example of what one is capable of when they know they can’t die, is how she reacts as those around her sacrifice themselves or fall victim to traps and die. She doesn’t blame them, she questions her own leadership. She cares about her group so much that, even though she knows they are perfectly fine, the idea that maybe she could have been better, that more could have survived, haunts her.

PS:I don't think she is a tsundere at all.
Her picture is a hilariously unflattering picture of her, haha.
Also her full name is Yuri "Yurippe" Nakamura.
