Wilhelm is a rich German gentleman who has moved to England with his wife, Dorothea and children, Erich and Ilse. Despite his social standing, Wilhelm is not particularly stuck up; he staunchly believes in showing gratitude towards everyone, especially servants. Though he has quite a serious appearance, he has a kind side and is deeply in love with his wife.
