Doesn't deserve the hate, he's so much better than Nami and is stronger, he at least can fight he just doesn't have the guts, he would give up his pride just for his crew
I don't get why everyone hates him so much. He has amazing character development. He is shown as the most human character on the straw hat crew. Of course he is going to be afraid or cowardly. Even though he is cowardly, he has shown to be very loyal to Luffy and the crew. (One Piece Film Stampede for example). And lets be honest, a lot of his fears are very relatable. Like being scared that you don't fit in, or that you are useless. very low self-esteem.
