Originally was not planning on giving her the "heart", but that one scene really redeemed her, albeit, this type of character trope has been done already, but that scene really showed her shortcomings for Mystic to sit down and empathize. A lot of people, especially people perceived as always happy, it is such a rare sight to see them breakdown that it is an honor to be shown that side of them they have hid to everyone else.
