Pretty and kind on the surface, Kurumi is one of the most popular girls in school. She has a long friendship with Kazehaya dating back to middle school, but a cool relationship with Yano and Yoshida. Underneath her friendly exterior lies a cunning but lonely girl who, while willing to sacrifice other people's feelings to get what she wants, hides an extraordinary amount of patience and persistence.

@ialex32: I notice that gets said around here a lot. But honestly, I didn't think she was all THAT horrible in the anime either. It was only that very first arc with her where she went beyond the pale, and that ended up unravelling so badly for her that afterwards she and Sawako grew closer together as "rivals" and remained close, respectful frenemies for the rest of the anime. She was never just a terrible bitch with no character development in the anime, and Sawako made it perfectly clear that she forgives her and cares about her in spite of how nasty she was at the start.
I actually like her. She was a bitch at first but I can slowly see the start of her development.
You can tell who read the manga and who only watched the anime based on who likes and dislikes her.
Her character development in the manga is awesome <3
I understand she's in love, but she took it way too far
