Woody4Lightyear Thanks! But yeah, I'd recommend it wholeheartedly. The way everyone is animated in that show is really awesome, especially Bocchi, since she expressed a lot of stuff in ways I could relate to back in school as well (a lot of her anxiety-related scenes are drawn really creatively imo)
Watamote may not be my cup of tea, but it was still an alright watch, and I gotta admit I definitely related to Tomoko too in a few scenes ngl.
SyringeTip thank you sm for sharing your thoughts!
I actually haven't watched Bocchi, because based on the reviews and clips alone, I would find the other characters boring (but maybe I'd be wrong)
The main character does seem unique ngl. I personally love Tomoko because she reminds me of my primary school experiences. I was just as annoying, confused, weird and sad as her.
Woody4Lightyear Half & Half. I've got crushing anxiety myself, but Tomoko's an overexaggeration. Bocchi's depiction is more grounded in reality, more relatable, and more tolerable. Plus the show's 3x better.
Bocchi's written like someone I could imagine talking to irl, Tomoko's written like a Family Guy character.
