Just to say like the @DoodlebugFour comment, nowadays male anime characters in industry are damn shameful compared to his mature, brillient, clear-relationship characteristics (fuck lolicons).
He is a true Man. Smart, Cool, Mature-bad ass character. But respect his opponents. YES YES, a true hero can protect his love any means necessary, my hearts are pounding filled with thrilling chills at the last 4 episodes, damn i love both of the male leads.
Saiga is like a breath of fresh air compared to all the beta males that plague the industry nowadays. He may not be deep in terms of characterization, but makes up for it with having a absurd but surprisngly awesome power that he uses in a tactical manner, a sense of what is right, devotion towards a girl in need of freedom, dosen't let his cynicism completey change his views of reality, a great dub performance by Chris Sabat (Said perfomance made Sabat a personal fav, Vegeta got nothin), and had the balls to crash a heavily guarded wedding all by himself.
Say what you will about the show as a whole, but Saiga was one of the elements that made the show for yours truly.
Micheal Bay would be proud, lol.
