Torumaru is a cute and mischevious puppy. Although his role in the manga is small, in the anime he is upgraded to a secondary character as the School Living Club's unofficial mascot. He tends to slip away at inopportune times to go exploring in the school.

If it wasn't for Taroumaru they would all have died.
He led the girls to Miki.
Miki then had the courage to go down the basement to get the vaccine when Kurumi was infected.
Hadn't Miki done something, Takeya would still be in that small room.
Taroumaru appears yet again to help Takeya from the zombies.

He was(not the only one but mostly) the reason why they lived in the end. Rest well, champ.
