Poor girl, she carried the whole anime on her back even whilst being dead
She literally didn't have to die. Like, yeah the name of the show is based on her death. But it should have been named "The Detective Didn't Need to Die" because she literally didn't; her death was actually pointless and caused by a break in the plot's own rules.
I'm a sucker for white haired, serious yet playful waifus. This one stung a bit.
