Idk why I could not really connect with his character in sub, but after a re-watch in dub I really understand his character and really love his drive for getting better. He is a top-tier character in Haikyuu.

Great character
Starting season 3, and as an ex high school athlete myself I can respect the constant drive and urge to do as best as possible, but Hinata is fkn annoying. He cant be proud of his teammates and his actions are selfish as hell. He could have got that member and his whole team in trouble/disrespect/etc. He risked other teammates potential and slightly put risk on their future.
He isnt inspirational at the start of his series and it's disgusting the way he handled any of that. That's not team spirit, that's selfishness. "Hes so precious, how could u hate this bean"? Hes self precocious and doesnt care if he risked his teammate. He needs to learn how to grow the fk up and accept when he isn't on top, and learn how to get himself there as a team player.
