Most realistic character, should have realistically ended up with Rikuo. But the story says fuck you and just ruins everything good about this character. Shinako is great don't get me wrong, but the story just ruins her development for the first 11 episodes.
I ended up liking her character more than Haru, but not for the main character. I thought she was the most realistic, not a bad person at all but still hurt over losing her first love.
Wow what’s with all the hate? Is it really so bad not to have everything figured out from the start? A lot of young people find it hard to decipher their own feelings. It made Shinako and Rikuo realistic and that’s what made this series so compelling.

She and Rikuo both deserve each other, both are garbage of people, it is Haru who really deserves someone much better than him.
