I see a lot of comparisons to Bakugou, and I can see why - he has a lot of visual similarities, and they both appear kind of tough at first.
However, I cannot overstate, Shiki is much much much much more likable than Bakugou
I think it's because he has a lot of elements that people hope Bakugou will show - Shiki demonstrates vulnerability and how deeply effected his mental state is from trauma early on, and his tough facade breaks earlier. Consequently, he's actually a lot nicer to his teammates
