This guy is a much worse version of Paul. He literally left that Tepig out to starve and was an absolute unapologetic dick to both it and Ash when they met him, emotionally manipulates his Pokemon into believing he was sorry for them and tries to force people into giving him their Pokemon. Dude didn't change his ways either. Paul may have abused a Chimchar and was a dick to almost everyone, but Shamus is far worse than Paul in many ways. There's no way this guy can be redeemed.
I hate this guy for what he did to Tepig. He even bragged about not only abandoning Tepig, but other Pokemon that didn't meet his expectations. He calls himself a trainer??
I don't hate him just 'cause of what he pulled with Tepig - I hate him 'cause he pulled that shit with LOTS of other Pokemon that he'd wanted to abandon. With no reason for acting so nice and regretful about it other than he wanted them to always remember him since he's just narcissistic like that. What a freaking DOUCHE.
You'd think with Damian and Paul, I would easily hate Shamus but I don't. I surprisingly found him entertaining for a BW character. I love how he had a gimmick for his Pokemon team. Sure, what he did to Tepig was cruel, but I didn't think he was as malicious as other characters in the series. A bit shameful he only appeared once would've loved more of this kid.
