As a child he was forced to do errands for various bullies and this helped him develop a very quick running style. He was protected by his childhood friend, Mamori Anezaki, but Yoichi Hiruma also finds a way to get through her defenses. He develops a rivalry with Shin Seijuro, and this competition keeps them both motivated.

This guy is on my Top 6 favorite characters of all time list. Sometimes I find myself going all Mamori on him. (Stop hurting Sena with your big gun, Hiruma!!!!)
But yea, anyway, I have this thing for wussy main characters and short main characters. Sena just so happens to be both. I believe that for every person, there is an anime character they can really connect with. Mine's Tai from Digimon, but if he was never "born", then Sena would probably be that anime character.
